This one surprised me with how much heart it had.

The FMC is dealing with her own struggles, including her mother’s illness, which adds a layer of emotional weight to the story.

At the same time, the MMC is carrying his own trauma and being forced out of his kingdom.

So while the premise is wild (in the best way), there are real emotional stakes grounding the story, which made it more engaging than I expected.
