π The Premise
Entities to Lovers is a forced proximity rivals-to-lovers paranormal romance following Rory, who is a paranormal medium and ghost tour guide and Ezra who is an adjunct history professor and Rory’s rival ghost tour guide. When Rory and Ezra accidentally find themselves cursed by a ghost, bad luck strikes them hard whenever they’re apart or they’re arguing. I absolutely loved the paranormal forced proximity in this book! The supernatural circumstances that forced these characters together felt believable within the world of the story, and the escalating bad luck whenever they were apart was hilarious. From minor inconveniences, like spilled coffee, to potentially deadly accidents, the increasingly ridiculous situations made for such an entertaining read.

π₯ The Dynamic
One of my favorite things about this book was how wonderfully imperfect the characters were. They had insecurities, made mistakes, and sometimes misjudged each other. I love characters who feel real, and I especially enjoyed watching these two slowly realize how much they had in common despite their initial assumptions about one another.
The forced proximity gave them the opportunity to get past their misconceptions and genuinely get to know each other. Their developing relationship felt natural, and I loved watching their connection grow.
I also loved the ghosts. π» Perfect book to read during the Spooky Season!

β¨ Final Thoughts
This was such a fun, charming paranormal romance! The combination of supernatural chaos, humor, forced proximity, and imperfect characters made this a five star read for me.
I had the pleasure of meeting Mallory Marlowe at Love Lit Con earlier this year, so I was especially excited to receive an ARC of Entities to Lovers. I’m so happy to say that it exceeded my expectations and felt like the perfect choice to read this October.

I also loved the cameo appearances of characters from Love and Other Conspiracies. Entities to Lovers can be read as a stand alone. But having read Love and Other Conspiracies made me appreciate seeing the familiar characters and in that moment it felt a little like hugging an old friend. If I could change one thing about the book, it would be to have those characters join Rory and Ezra on the ghost tour for that special moment. IYKYK. That would have been pure magic.
If you love paranormal romance, forced proximity, witty banter, and imperfect characters finding out they’re perfect for each other and finding love in the middle of supernatural chaos, Entities to Lovers deserves a spot on your TBR! It’s funny, romantic, and just the right amount of spooky for Halloween season. π»π
