Nichole, founder/writer

Nichole is a not-so-closeted romance lover and nerd at heart who loves Doctor Who, comic books, and scifi and fantasy and spicy romance. She is an avid reader, a writer, and an aspiring Masterchef contestant 😉 in the kitchen. She is also a fashion and makeup junkie who just can’t get enough. Her makeup collection knows no bounds! After getting her Bachelors in English and her Masters in Journalism and Media studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Nichole spent three year at Michigan State University where she received her Juris Doctor (having survived the Polar Vortex of 2014 and the Snowpocalypse of 2015). After studying for and taking the Nevada state bar, Nichole is a lawyer by day and an influencer by nights and weekends. She can finally focus on herself and experience a little fun and sunshine in Las Vegas, Nevada. Nichole eats a vegetarian diet (with the exception of shellfish), occasionally semi-gluten free (except with an allergy to corn), and usually fails at being sugar-free.
PREVIOUSLY ON POP GLAM LIFE…
Pop Glam Life originally started as a collaborative lifestyle blog, and you may still find older posts written by contributors who were part of that journey. As the blog has evolved, it now reflects Nichole’s current lifestyle and interests, love of books and storytelling.
Prior Contributors:
Yvonne, founder/writer of PINK SOCIETY LIFE and early Pop Glam Life and still a badass on her own journey.
Yvonne’s motto is “you are not as old as you are, but as young as you let yourself be.” Yvonne is a big animal lover, an avid vegetarian (going vegan!), and a self-proclaimed dog whisperer (“Because all dogs love me”). She is a mother of two beautiful children and three fur babies (two chihuahuas and a melanistic bengal cat), a loving wife, a former women’s boutique owner, a real estate agent and a health nut. After losing her thyroid in 2013, following a ten year battle with autoimmune disease, Yvonne focused her attentions on healing herself with organic and non-gmo foods and lots and lots of vegetable juicing. Yvonne got her Bachelors in Nutrition and her Masters in Public Health with a focus on Nutrition and Dietetics from California State University, Northridge. And as she likes to say, she pretty much has a PhD in “mothering,” fashion, and healthy lifestyles for health benefits. Yvonne eats a vegan diet (with the exception of the rare occasional fish and shellfish), free of gluten, dairy, and sugar.
