This was a very cozy read and I enjoyed reading about the connections between people. Not only the connections between Jax and her sister, Ryleigh;or Jax and her contractor, Marcus; or Jax and her ex-husband and his new fiance; but also Ryleigh and her connection with Alex and his son. And the customers of the Painted Lady Bookstore and how they all come together in an emergency. This story really is touching as it shows the connections between people in this small town.
This book is also about taking a chance on fresh starts and new beginnings. Sometimes trying something new doesn’t work out. But sometimes taking a leap, chancing the unknown results in happiness.
Ramon was my favorite character in this book. IYKYK!!!
