We all know that a good lipstick can be the difference between drab and fab. Sometimes there’s no time for a full face of makeup, but a little lipstick and I’m ready to go. To celebrate National Lipstick Day, here is a small selection of some of my favorites. Unfortunately I can’t list them all! Some are regular lipsticks and some are liquid lipsticks. Enjoy!
Pinks and Reds

Marc Jacobs Le Marc lipstick, $30 in “Blow” (pictured above) or “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang”
Just one picture, but alllll the colors! My favorite is “Blow” for a hot red or “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang” for a dark dusty rose.
Dab this on for a light stain or coat your lips twice for a bold dark lip. This is a red fitting for any bombshell!

Nudes
Ciate Liquid Velvet, $19 in “Swoon”
This lipstick is absolutely beautiful. It is so silky and smooth and the perfect nude color. I just got this one last week and it has been on my lips every day since. This one is definitely going to get to the bottom of the tube and when it does, I’ll be at the store first thing for another one!

This isn’t the first time I’ve called “Namaste” a favorite. This matte shade is beautiful and elegant. It slides over your lips so smoothly and you don’t need a lip liner or anything. You won’t be able to get enough of it. But careful, it might smear when you eat.
Darks

This isn’t the first time I’ve recommended “Frenemy.” This is a lip paint that I instantly fell in love with and it has never let me down. Bold and beautiful, just watch out! Eat at your own risk. It’s going to smear if you’re not careful. But it is soooo worth it!
Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick $21 in “Poe”
Crazy dark color that I just can’t get enough of. It’s like a sparkly dark purple that just looks deadly and kickass. Gotta love Kat Von D and her outrageous colors. A little drying on me because I get easily chapped lips, so I wear it with a lip primer and it’s fantastic all day long.
